The Infantryman depicted here is a member of a Zouave unit from the Civil War. His uniform reflects the fancy taste those units preferred. His Kepi is red and has extra trim. His jacket is blue with fancy red and yellow trim. His pants are the baggy style associated with the Zouave units. He wears Brogan shoes with spats. His accoutrements are regulation issue for the Civil War. He carries a Remington Zouave musket and bayonet. |
This Infantryman is dressed for campaign, wearing the 1872 pattern Kepi and the 1883 pattern five-button sack coat with Corporal chevrons. His trousers are sky blue with white Infantry stripes down each leg. He wears standard issue shoes or Brogans. He is also wearing the canvas and leather prairie belt and carries the entrenching tool, bayonet and canteen. A haversack is at his side. He carries an 1873 model 45-70 Springfield Trapdoor rifle. |

| This officer is wearing the typical campaign dress seen in the Indian War period. He wears the officer’s version of the 1872 Kepi and a five-button blouse with shoulder straps, as well as the dark blue regulation trousers and boots. His belt and accoutrements are officer’s equipment that was authorized for wear. He carries an 1850 Foot Officer’s sword with a bullion sword knot. His weapon is the 1873 Colt Single Action revolver. |
This Infantryman is dressed for the winter campaign. He is wearing the newly issued Buffalo hide overcoat. His hat is made from muskrat and his mittens are made from buffalo. These were issued in the late 1870s to troops stationed in the Northern plains. He carries an 1870 Springfield trapdoor rifle in 50-70 calibre. |

| This 1st sergeant is wearing the issue campaign hat with infantry blue campaign hat cord. He wears the 1883 pattern 5-button blouse with chevrons and trousers with stripes down each leg reflecting his rank. Canvas leggings cover his campaign boots. He carries a haversack and canteen. The Spanish American War web belt is blue and has the bayonet attached. He was issued the 1898 Springfield .30-40 Krag. |
This Infantry Major is wearing the pith helmet which was authorized for campaign and hot climates. He wears the 1895 pattern tan 5-button blouse with blue Infantry trim. He wears the correct collar insignia and regulation trousers tucked into officer’s boots. He is wearing the officer’s belt, buckle, and other authorized items on his belt. The knife is embellished with inscriptions from the Spanish American War. He carries an 1873 Colt Single Action Revolver with the 5 ½” barrel and the 1850 Foot Officer’s Sword. |

| This WWI “doughboy” is wearing the regulation 1912 pattern uniform with the 1917 helmet. His belt, gas mask, pack and other equipment is all standard issue. He was issued a 1917 Colt .45 double-action revolver and a 1903 Springfield rifle calibre 30-06. |
This officer is wearing the 1912 pattern uniform jacket and pants, together with the 1917 helmet.
He is carrying a regulation holster, belt, personal bag and field glasses. He was issued a 1911 Colt .45 automatic pistol.

| This officer is wearing the Chapeau dress hat with ostrich feather, double breasted frock coat with bullion and brass shoulder paddles, regulation trousers and officers’ style boots. He carries an 1858 Remington revolver and an 1850 Staff & Field sabre which were standard for the war years. |
This Infantryman is wearing the 1881 regulation dress uniform prescribed for enlisted men. He wears the spiked helmet with the crossed rifle plate on the front. His dark blue coat with white trim is the nine button pattern. He has one enlistment stripe on each cuff and corporal chevrons on each arm. He is carrying an 1884 model Springfield .45-70 rifle. |
